COVID-19 Update

Dear Parents/Caregivers
Overnight, the Department of Education has released advice for schools to operate in accordance to the government’s COVID - 19 pandemic plan.
It is expected that if any students are unwell they remain at home and do not attend school. The department has also asked if students present to school unwell that they are sent home.
Staff will be working on avenues to make work accessible from home.
In line with this advice, we will be cancelling morning assemblies, formal assemblies, and the Parent Teacher Evening scheduled this week. Parents who book interviews will be contacted by staff via phone or email over the next 2 weeks or alternatively, parents may contact teachers via phone or the school email to request information on their child’s progress. Excursions planned for this term have also been cancelled.
I will communicate any further information as it becomes available. In the meantime I seek your assistance in assuring that students who are unwell remain at home until symptoms resolve and, where appropriate, seek advice from a medical practitioner
