About our school

South Campus caters for students from Years 7 to 10 and is geared towards meeting the learning needs of students in the middle years of school.

A well-developed transition program ensures students moving from primary schools into secondary school education are supported in a friendly and caring way, with Campus staff highly skilled in working with teenagers in the 12 to 16 years age bracket.

Transition planning is also integral to the successful movement of students from Year 10 into Year 11 and is undertaken in tandem with staff at Dubbo College Senior Campus.

As well as having a strong history in creative and performing arts and sport, South Campus focuses on discipline through its South CARES strategy, where students learn self-respect, cultural awareness and understanding and acceptance of fellow students and members of staff.

Academic achievement is a top priority with individual success encouraged and applauded. Developing a love for lifelong learning is one of the school's most important goals, with Year 10 students leaving the school as mature and responsible citizens, ready to tackle the challenges of further education.

We always look forward to welcoming new students and parents to Dubbo College South Campus.
